AC Motorhomes is the longest established bespoke/custom motorhome builder in South Africa. In 2023 we will be celebrating 25 years of making people’s dreams come true.

In June 1998, Carey Wareham officially opened the doors of AC Motorhomes’ first factory in Montague Gardens.  After moving the factory within the area over the first few years, he moved the company to our current premises in Brackenfell in 2005.

Carey’s vision was to create aesthetically pleasing motorhomes with ergonomically created interior spaces to suit each individual client’s requirements.

In 2010, the business was sold to the current owner, Hein Visser.  Hein has continued this vision and helping our clients realise their dream.  Anyone that has worked with Hein knows that he goes the extra mile to ensure the best possible outcome for them.

Since then, we have expanded our builds to include many more chassis’ and will continue to be innovative in all that we do to provide our customer with a sound, memory making motorhome.

When you contact our office, you will encounter Melissa van Tonder.  She is the lovely lady that most will deal with initially as she deals with all clients and runs the office with a compassionate, friendly manner.
